At the beginning of 2017, owners Steve Ware and Ross Pavey, who having been running Gas & Plumb Bits, an independent Heating, Hot Water & Plumbers Merchant since 2005; put their heads together and decided to put all of their knowledge into their own independent bathroom showroom - with their signature friendly customer service, and the relevant expertise to back it up, The Bath Works was born.

The first showroom opened in Moordown, Bournemouth, Dorset which made a great design studio and the business was then swiftly developed even further by Kate Ware, Steve's wife, when she joined the business, utilising her previous sales, business development and creative experience. Then, at the beginning of 2018, with the success of the Bournemouth Studio, a further Showroom opened in New Milton, Hampshire, along with another branch of Gas & Plumb Bits. This Showroom offers approximately 2500 sqft across three large rooms all incorporating various bathroom displays. Then in July 2023 another new showroom opened in Southbourne offering a similar footprint to the New Milton location but showcasing more premium products. With the expansion within the business and a growing team, it was then time to relocate the Moordown Studio to the Southbourne Showroom. Never to sit still, in the summer of 2024 the Directors acquired another location in Poole which also offers a good sized showroom and a large trade counter.

 

Furthermore, Nicola Pavey, Ross' wife also joined the business by giving both The Bath Works and Gas & Plumb Bits more business support. All the while the sales teams within the showrooms have grown, bringing on more experience in both sales and design.
