Terms and Conditions.

The Bath Works is a trading name of Gasbits Ltd, company number 05473706, registered office 843 to 845 Wimborne Road, Moordown, Bournemouth BH9 2BG. All orders are accepted by us only under these Terms and cannot be modified without written agreement from an authorised company signatory.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them.

Standard stock items may be cancelled subject to approval. Where the supplier has already raised the order, you will be asked to cover any restocking or supplier fees we incur.

Bespoke goods, including made-to-measure cabinetry, cut-to-size stone, and special-order brassware, cannot be cancelled. Bespoke goods are only returnable where the goods do not match the specification agreed at order.

Prices are based on the supplier and currency costs at the time we accept your order. We reserve the right to adjust the price of the goods at the time of delivery by such amount as is necessary to cover any increase in those costs between order and delivery.

Where any such adjustment is material, we will notify you in writing and you may cancel the affected items within seven days of that notice.

Account holders: payment is due on the last day of the month following the month of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments accrue interest at 8 per cent above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily, until paid.

Delivery dates are estimates and we are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control. You must inspect the goods within three working days of delivery and report any defects or shortages to us in writing within that period.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title in the goods remains with us until full payment has been received.

Our maximum liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
