UV for vitamin D. Infrared for recovery.

One fixture, recessed into the shower wall alongside the tile and the tap.

A bathroom lined in large grey stone-effect tiles. A tall Sunshower panel glows warm amber inside a walk-in shower behind a glass screen. To the right an oak vanity carries a rough stone basin, with three woven pendant lights and a mirror above, and a bare-branch tree in a black pot at the left

Two different things

Two different things, one fixture.

UV makes vitamin D. Infrared moves blood. Sunshower can do both, on a single circuit, behind a single lens.

A tall sage-green Sunshower wall panel glowing cool blue-white, on the plain white wall of a shower recess, with a bronze rain head on a wall arm above and two bronze controls alongside.

01 · UV

Ultraviolet, calibrated low.

The same wavelength your skin uses to make vitamin D from a walk in March sunshine. Calibrated low. Calibrated short. The dose closer to a daylight walk than to a sunbed.

Suitable for skin types two to six. Three minutes a session. Not a tan. Not sunburn. Just Vitamin D.

The same sage-green Sunshower wall panel in the same recess, this time glowing warm orange, with the bronze rain head above and the two bronze controls alongside.

02 · Infrared

Warmth you feel, not see.

Infrared is felt warmth, not visible light. It heats your tissue, not the air around you. Your circulation rises. Your muscles relax. The kind of recovery a gym session leaves your body needing.

Twelve minutes a session. Quiet. The bathroom does not feel like a sauna while it happens.

A close view of the top of a sage-green Sunshower panel on a plain pale wall, the brand name above a power icon and a light icon, with the lit panel below glowing blue-white.

03 · Combined

Both, together, twice a day.

When the two run together, the body gets the vitamin signal and the recovery signal in the same window. Sleep improves. Energy lifts. Mood lifts. Not because the science is special, but because the routine is consistent.

The headline is not the technology. The headline is the fact that the routine is already happening, twice a day, every day.

Sunshower

Sunshower. Two product lines.

We chose Sunshower because the integration is honest. The fixture recesses into the wall or sits flush on it. The running cost is about ten pounds a year. We are an authorised dealer.

Six things

Six things a wellness bathroom actually does.

UV

Vitamin D

The signal your skin needs in the months daylight does not give it.

UV

Immune support

A consistent vitamin D level is one of the quieter levers under your immune system.

UV

Mood

Light timed to the morning lifts mood through the day. The science is unromantic and reliable.

Infrared

Muscle recovery

Tissue warmth after a session lifts blood flow and shortens the soreness window.

Infrared

Circulation

Quiet warmth, deep enough to feel, gentle enough to do every day.

Infrared

Joint relief

Most useful for the joints that grumble in the morning. Most clients use it before the day, not after it.

In the room

Three rooms, three finishes.

A shower wall of narrow terracotta tiles with a Sunshower panel glowing orange, a bronze rain head above and a hand shower alongside. Beyond the wall a plaster-finished room with a pebble-shaped mirror, a globe wall light, a stone washstand and rolled towels
Infrared, terracotta tile.
A walk-in shower lined in cream and peach gloss tiles with two brass rain heads on one wall, a Sunshower panel glowing orange at the left, a recessed shelf holding two bottles and a tiled bench with folded towels and a leafy plant
Infrared, gloss tile.
A dark shower lined in black wave-textured tile. A Sunshower panel glows cool blue and white beside matt black controls, a hand shower and a grey towel on a rail. A palm stands at the left and a lit niche behind the glass holds bottles
UV, dark tile.
