Shaker panelling
Boat bath, panelled walls.
Framed panelling, a nine-drawer vanity, and a boat bath in the dormer.
The room
A bathroom lined in grey framed panelling, with a freestanding double vanity and a boat bath set into the dormer.
Framed Shaker panelling runs to dado height around the room with a capping rail, painted grey against white above, over a large-format marble-effect porcelain floor. The eaves slope in from both sides and the bath sits in the dormer under a slim black-framed window.
The vanity is freestanding rather than wall-hung: nine drawers in three columns with cut-glass faceted knobs, and a white top carrying two inset basins and two chrome mixers. Above it hangs a rectangular mirror in a stepped bevelled border, with a wall light either side and an extending magnifying mirror to one side.
The bath is a double-ended boat shape with a white interior and a dark outer skin, standing on a moulded polished metal plinth and filled from a floor-standing chrome mixer with a handshower. A walk-in shower behind a frameless screen, with a white low-profile tray, takes the opposite corner.
